Redskins meet with several quarterbacks at Senior Bowl

While Bruce Allen's press conference dominated the headlines from the Senior Bowl Tuesday, the Redskins were also at work scouting and getting to know several of the quarterbacks participating in the annual exhibition.
Per J.P. Finlay of NBC Sports Washington, the Redskins have met with three: Duke's Daniel Jones, Penn State's Trace McSorley and Ryan Finley of N.C. State. 

Redskins also spoke with Penn State QB Trace McSorley. He grew up in Ashburn and as a Redskins fan.

The Redskins are in the market for a new QB with Alex Smith a question mark for 2019 and beyond, while next season's probable starter, Colt McCoy, will be coming off a broken leg of his own. 

Washington likes what it's seen from Jones, according to Redskins blog Hogs Haven, but isn't sure he'll still be on the board at pick no. 15, where the Redskins are currently slated to select in the 2019 draft.
