The Redskins tendered running back Byron Marshall, sources told 106.7 The Fan's Craig Hoffman.
The 25-year-old was an exclusive rights free agent. He accepted the tender and will be back with the Redskins on a league-minimum deal, per Hoffman.
Marshall spent most of 2018 on Injured Reserve, with a leg injury suffered during preseason, and was primarily used on special teams upon his return in Week 11.
The Redskins like Marshall for his versatility as a back who can catch passes. He'll compete for a spot on the 53-man roster this August.
