Washington signed Sims to their practice squad Sunday

Sims went undrafted in 2018 and signed with the team as a free agent. He was considered on the bubble. Sims is still looking for his first NFL catch.

The news came after it was reported WR Steven Sims Jr. would make the 53-man roster.

ESPN's John Keim was the first to report the news of Sims' release.
