Former Washington Redskins wide receiver Terrelle Pryor was arrested Saturday and charged with assault after he was stabbed during an altercation in his apartment, according to multiple media reports.
Police have arrested Shalaya Briston, 24, and charged her with attempted homicide and aggravated assault. Pryor, 30, who was in critical condition early Saturday, has been charged with simple assault, USA Today
reported. Officers believed the man had been stabbed in the upper right chest, per USA Today.

November 30, 2019 A representative of Pryor told The Associated Press family members had been told Pryor is expected to make a full recovery.
Pryor, a standout quarterback at Ohio State University, played 11 games in Washington during his seven-year NFL career in which he played both QB and WR. He also played for the Oakland Raiders, Cleveland Browns, Buffalo Bills, and New York Jets.
