April 1 is April Fool’s Day, the day where you REALLY can’t believe half of what you see and most of what you read – but are you just kinda over it, or no?
“A lot of people take it serious, a lot of people don't; my daughter just had me a little grandson, and the hospital was like, well, if you don't have it by this date, we're going to induce you on April 1 – and she said I am not having a baby on April 1, my baby will not be teased,” BMitch revealed. “Well I get here and Landfill sends me the show sheet, and I look and he wrote, ‘is April Fool's Day the dumbest holiday?’ Well, what would be one that's dumber?”
Landfill thinks it is the dumbest, but BMitch disagrees…because it isn’t a holiday?
“It's just a day because we still go to work and we just mess with people,” Brian said. “If people believe something outlandish on this day, then it's not that the holiday is dumb, it’s just that we got dumb people in the world.”
Apparently, someone got Ryan Clary, G&D’s producer who was the on the scene producer for BMitch at Greene Turtle, and while Brian didn’t go into that, he did ask Stallion his thoughts.
“I agree with it because it's literally just a day filled with lies,” Ryan said. “I just think it's a dumb holiday because I can just go up to you and be like, hey, B, I gotta run right now, I gotta leave.”
“It’s a day you can tell a little white lies that you don’t mean,” Brian laughed. “But the whole thing of it is this: if you are not easily swayed, it shouldn't bother you, because normally people wait until April Fool's Day to say some of the most outlandish and dumbest things out there, and we fall for it over and over again. When you come to me and you say something stupid on this date, I'm more than likely not gonna believe you anyway.”
Ryan’s pretty gullible, though, which is why people call him ‘dum-dum’ – or was Landfill joking?
“It’s funny to me, but I don't see it as a holiday. I just see it as a day for fun,” Brian said. “Just like on Halloween, when people wanna sit there on a porch and scare people. You'll get a two-piece in my neighborhood to try that, see people start to get beat up, getting some pop, pop!”
“I mean, I just think April Fool's Day is just dumb. Like back in like high school or middle school, people would be playing jokes about maybe spreading rumors about someone, and they get people,” Ryan said, fully aware he still got got today at 24 years old, despite him trying to say the contrary.
BMitch at least kept his word that he wouldn’t bring up the full story on air…or did he?
