When it comes to historic jersey numbers, there are quite a few layups in the history of DC sports; no one will ever forget 37, 8, and 17 (that’s Strasburg, Ovechkin, and McLaurin, of course) in the future, just like 21, 41, and 32 will forever be linked to Sean Taylor, Wes Unseld, and Dale Hunter inside FedEx Field and Capital One Arena.
