Career Goal No. 884
Ovi's tally in the third (Mat Roy assist) was Washington's only goal in a 3-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Career Goal No. 885
With the Caps down a goal in the third, Ovechkin found the back of the net on the power play (Andrew Mangiapane, Ethen Frank) before Tom Wilson grabbed the winner in overtime of a 3-2 win at the New York Rangers.
Career Goal No. 886
Ovechkin put the icing on the cake of a 4-2 win over the Seattle Kraken with an empty net goal (Wilson, Nic Dowd).
Career Goal No. 887
Midway through the third period, Ovi scored the Capitals' 5th goal in a 5-1 win at the San Jose Sharks (Martin Fehervary, Pierre-Luc Dubois) for the Caps' 23rd away win on the season.

The Great 8 opened the scoring in the first period (Aliaksei Protas, Trevor van Riemsdyk), and Washington went on to beat the Philadelphia Flyers 3-2.

Ovechkin's goal four minutes from time leveled the score (Protas, Van Riemsdyk) and helped Washington leave Winnipeg with a point, but the Jets got the winner in overtime.

Ovi grabbed a pair of assists and a goal in a funky 8-5 loss to the Buffalo Sabres, but his tally (Rasmus Sandin, van Riemsdyk) in the third gave him 37 on the season and moved him one closer to history in the Caps' final game of March.
