Danny Rouhier is now an actual published scientist???
Bruce Allen rejoice, because in Friday's 'Winning Off the Field' segment, Danny Rouhier revealed that he is winning in the pages of important literature!
"Do you know who you're sitting with right now, who I am? I've had some accolades, some things have come my way and I've been very fortunate, blessed to be in the GW Athletic Hall of Fame, which is really cool, former All-Met baseball player years ago," Danny said, definitely not looking for applause.
You surely know Danny's shtick where he's a scientist, 'where I refer to my team around the world concerned with saving all life on this planet for the space rocks of death,' which is indeed tongue-in-cheek – but this is not.
"You, my friend Grant Harrison Paulsen, are sitting with a published scientist. I have been published in a peer review study," Danny said. "I played Borderlands 3! I don't understand how it works exactly, but I am one of 4.5 million people that participated in a mini-game conducted and invented by an actual genius to help solve an evolutionary puzzle about gut bacteria, to help track this thing. And because I participated, I am in a peer reviewed scientific journal! Didn't know I was, found out just now, but I'm in there, I'm part of it. So were 4.5 million other people, but the point is I'm one of them. Published scientist!"
Hey, can YOU say that?
