The moment Eagles fans have been waiting for is finally here.
Owner Jeffrey Lurie announced on Tuesday that the team will be bringing back their classic kelly green uniforms, a move fans have been waiting years to happen.
The team will be wearing the uniforms as an alternate in the 2023 season. The wait is due to Nike having to spend time perfecting the exact shade of kelly green worn by Randall Cunningham, Reggie White and other Eagles legends.
Until the debut of the kelly green jerseys the Eagles will be adding a black helmet for the 2022 season to match their black jerseys they have been wearing as their alternate.
