"It's Jalen Hurts." "I would agree."
That was Grant and then Danny, opening Tuesday's segment wondering who the best QB in the NFC might be now that Aaron Rodgers is a Jet - and starting with a Super Bowl quarterback isn't a bad idea.
But what does the depth chart look like below that? Of the six other NFC playoff teams, we have two established yet still questionable division rivals in Dak Prescott and Daniel Jones, the Bucs will have a new QB post-Tom Brady, the Niners may or may not have Trey Lance and/or Brock Purdy (or Sam Darnold) and Kirk Cousins and Geno Smith are still Kirk and Geno.
Grant has Jared Goff, who almost got the Lions to the playoffs, fifth on his list, and Justin Fields can be dynamic, but after that, it's a crap shoot - Carolina is going to have the No. 1 pick (and if it's Bryce Young, Grant thinks he can shoot up the rankings quickly), the Rams and Cardinals are in flux after injuries to their established QBs last year, the Saints are banking on a Derek Carr bounce-back, and the Falcons, Packers, and Commanders will have starters with limited action under their career belts.
So who fits in behind Hurts on both lists, and between Hurts and Goff on Grant's? Take a listen to their whole discussion above!
