We know Grant Paulsen is the 'baseball guy' here at 106.7 The Fan, so you knew he was going to have quite a bit to say about Shohei Ohtani signing a 10-year, $700 MILLION deal with the Dodgers this weekend.
He did, and you can listen to that above…but during the Grant & Danny Show on Monday, word broke that all but $2 million per year of Ohtani's salary will be deferred, allowing the Dodgers to have a unanimous MVP at a near-minimum salary, which is just ridiculous!
That, at least, led into a little chat about the cold open from Sunday Night Football where Bryce Harper revealed he used to be a Cowboys fan as a kid but now bleeds Philly colors…which, we guess, is sort of better?
