The baseball world and the DMV area lost a legend this week, as Hall of Fame Orioles third baseman Brooks Robinson passed away Tuesday at age 87. Grant & Danny were in their final segment when the news broke and reacted quickly – and after composing his thoughts, Grant Paulsen, who never saw Brooks play but knew of his legend while growing up in Virginia, told the story of how he once met the Hall of Famer in New York City to illustrate what a great player, and even better man, Robinson was.
