Cleveland Indians outfielder Josh Naylor was carted off Target Field in Minnesota on Sunday after suffering a gruesome leg injury.
Naylor was chasing a bloop in from right field when he collided with second baseman Ernie Clement.
Naylor helicoptered in the air and landed awkwardly on his leg, twisting it backwards. He then rolled around on the ground in pain while grabbing the back of his leg.
(Video of the collision can be seen here. Warning: injury is graphic)
The video was reminiscent of a gruesome football injury, a la Alex Smith or Dak Prescott, leaving everyone from fans to those on the field in shock.
Clement even covered his face with his hat and Naylor was brought back to the dugout.
While there has not been an official diagnosis yet, the Indians tweeted out their support for Naylor, as did the Twins.
