The largest contracts in baseball history are 14 years in duration (Fernando Tatis Jr.) and $426.5 million in value, that being the total of Mike Trout’s current deal with the Angels.
One of his teammates, Shohei Ohtani, becomes a free agent at the end of this year, and while 14 years might not be on the table for the soon-to-be 29-year-old, even 10 years at market value could top Trout’s money.
It’s fun to try to predict who will sign Ohtani and for how much – and that’s exactly what Jason Bishop and the rest of the Junkies tried to do on Tuesday!
