We’ve got a little XFL Championship Game on tap this weekend, and the DC Defenders will be there! The Defenders face the Arlington Renegades Saturday on San Antonio to determine the first XFL 2.5 Champs, and Defenders Coach/GM and XFL Coach of the Year Reggie Barlow joined the Junkies on Monday morning to discuss!

The Defenders had 1,408 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns – 788 and 7 from league leader Abram Smith alone – to have the No. 1 rushing attack in the XFL, and their two QB system with Jordan Ta’amu (who was third in the league in passing) and Deriq King, so the offense is humming as they head into a title game against an Arlington team that is 5-6 overall on the season.

Take a listen as Barlow discusses the Defenders’ offense, scouts the Renegades, talks about Gregg Williams as a defensive coordinator, and gives you everything you need to know leading up to Saturday’s finale!
