Super Bowl LVIII is set, and it’s Shanahan vs. Reid, Brock vs. Mahomes, the Bay vs. Tay-Tay. San Francisco topped Detroit and Kansas City beat Baltimore to set up a Chiefs-Niners Super Bowl, and the Junkies broke it all down Monday morning – and then brought in Mike Jones from The Athletic for his thoughts on what happened in the two games!
The one good thing for the Commanders about Sunday’s results is that Ben Johnson is now fully available, and Washington was scheduled to have a contingent meet with him and Lions DC Aaron Glenn this week – and Jones thinks we’ll find out really soon one way or the other.
“Now that their season’s over and there is no more waiting, it seems like he’s their guy and they can pounce if that’s the case,” Jones said. “He has turned down interviews in other places, and Seattle doesn’t seem to have the ties to him we have here. But, we can’t expect the same thing as he did with the Lions – don’t expect him to come here and have a juggernaut offense overnight.”
Take a listen to it all above!
