Here’s one for you from the “are the Junkies crusty old men” department: AirBNB is already bringing strangers into people’s homes as an alternative to commercial lodging, but would you actually ever stay WITH a stranger?
Long-time listener but first-time caller Chris – who apparently has a mutual friend with Bish - called in during EB’s Entertainment Page Tuesday and offered Jason Bishop, a frequenter of Virginia Tech’s campus, the chance to stay with him 15 miles outside of Blacksburg whenever he comes down – even knowing there’s probably no way Bish would do it.
Our digital guy up in Connecticut has also offered EB a place to crash, refresh, or get a bite if one of his kids’ teams is in the area for a game, but at least they’ve met – but what if it’s someone you don’t know?
