The Stephen Strasburg era is over, as the righty is retiring due to injury complications, and per Bob Nightengale, he’s still going to make the money on his contract, as it was not ensured.

“Doesn’t sound like there’s much of an agreement that’s eben reached?” JP Finlay asked in discussing Strasburg’s deal. “Maybe that’s the terms right now, and they’ll change…but maybe they won’t?”

Money aside, both JP and BMitch wanted to remember Strasburg during the good times, and how much fun he was to watch pitch…telling a story of 2008 or 2009 where Finlay drove to Harrisburg to watch a dominant performance in Double-A for Strasburg.

Take a listen as the guys reminisce about the dominance of our now-former 1-1 ace!
