Bob Carpenter has been the voice of the Nationals’ TV broadcasts since 2006, but on Monday, ahead of what was an eventually-canceled exhibition game against Baltimore, Bob revealed he had made the tough decision to step back after this season, and make 2025 his final full-time year in the booth.
Carpenter joined Grant & Tobi Tuesday to reflect on his 19 years in the booth, and, well, some of his favorite moments are likely some of yours, too:
And as he thanked the fans for 19 great years Monday, he then, with Grant & Tobi, reflected on how the fans turned DC from a baseball novelty into a town that celebrated a World Series 14 years later like they were there forever.
