James Wood is from Rockville…but he’s a GIANTS FAN? Danny had to ask ‘did you lose a bet’ to get that way, but no, he’s honoring his family.
After Grant marveled that Wood ‘was a kid’ when he was in college, he had to ask what Wood thought about the Giants’ QB situation.
“We'll see with Jones, we got one more year but I'm open for everything,” Wood said. “I would like to move up, but if the Bears are asking for what they got last year, then you're not doing it.”
Perhaps, then, the Giants stay put and get a weapon for Jones?
“I think Wan’Dale Robinson will be really good and I think we got some young guys that can be pretty good, but I think we're missing that dog,” Wood said. “Maybe if we don't move up, we take Malik Nabers and that's our guy.”
Oh, and as for the pick at No. 2 for his hometown team?
“They should take Bo Nix at 2,” Wood joked, before making his choice of Daniels vs. May: “Jayden Daniels.”
