Congratulations to CJ Abrams, first-time All-Star!
The Nationals’ shortstop was selected to his first All-Star Game as a reserve via the players’ and MLB selections, as announced when full rosters were announced Sunday night, and will be Washington’s lone 2024 All-Star.
Abrams, who entered Sunday slashing .282/.352/.506 with 14 home runs, 46 RBI, 21 doubles, and 14 steals in 82 games, joins fan-voted starter Trea Turner and Mookie Betts as the selected shortstops on the NL team.
