The fantasy football community's collective ears may have all just perked up at once. That's because one of the NFL's most talented wide receivers of the past decade is reportedly eligible to play once again, and he could be ready as early as next week.
Josh Gordon has been suspended six times since the 2013 season — five of which came as result of some form of substance abuse, according to ESPN — but NFL insider Adam Schefter says that the league is giving him another chance here in the 2021 season.
Gordon's agent, Zac Hiller, says that they're very appreciative that the NFL has seen the 30-year-old wideout put in hard work and make progress en route to his eventual return to the NFL. He went through a league-monitored treatment program and was supported by the NFLPA in his quest for reinstatement, which seems to have been approved.
