Eric Bickel, The Sports Junkies' resident octogenarian, revealed on Tuesday his surprise at how old one of his former teachers looks.
But the real gem of the segment was Bickel's dismay in being compared by one online observer to a late, great popcorn magnate.
"I remember when he was like a young coach, young teacher," Bickel remarked.
"Okay, but that was 30 years ago," said Bish.
"But now he looks a hundred!" EB said in disbelief (a line that could easily be said about himself).
"He'd probably say that same thing about you," Bish correctly noted.
"I know people do," Bickel said. "Somebody told me I look like Orville Redenbacher the other day!"

What more needs to be said? EB's self-evaluations have withstood the test of time for being completely divorced from reality. Remember, this is the same geriatric who first came to grips with his graying hair by dubbing himself the "silver fox."
Fortunately, we live in an age where absurd proclamations can yield immediate public response. And so the tweets came pouring in, with onlookers making other keen comparisons.
"Hey, do you know who Eric kind of looks like," Valdez chimed in. "He looks like the mascot from Ollie's Bargain Outlet."

It wouldn't be right to post here without his consent, but if you go on Bickel's Instagram, there's a recent photo he put up that would be impossible to construe as anything other than a man posing for one last family portrait with his grandchildren.
