Tyreek Hill is spending his offseason getting acclimated to a new offense in Miami while also providing some hot takes about his new quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
After calling Tua a more "accurate" passer than Patrick Mahomes, he claims to have received some death threats following his comment and even drew some feedback from Mahomes himself -- admitting that Hill is using the "hot take" route to draw attention to his new podcast, It Needed To Be Said. His latest take however may be the most ridiculous yet.
Hill admitted to gassing up Tua a bit when comparing him to Mahomes but when he thinks of how the 2022 Dolphins are as a unit, he's comparing this year's iteration to the Chiefs' dominant Super Bowl-winning squad in 2019.
It would be farfetched to say the Dolphins have approved on paper but for Hill to compare this year's Dolphins is as far as a stretch as you can think. The pieces are all there but it will ultimately come down to whether Tua can take a leap in performance.
As things stand right now, the Dolphins have +4000 odds to win the Super Bowl this season -- putting them in the same pack of teams as the New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints.
Hopefully, both Hill and Tua can back up some of his wild assertions.
