Chris Russell tells BMitch & Finlay he went to Dolphins events Sunday because 'I'm tired of hearing the same BS'

BMitch & Finlay love to have Chris Russell on before he goes on the Team 980 air at 1 p.m., if only to have some fun at Rooster’s expense about something wacky he did.

Sadly, there was nothing to laugh about when he joined the guys on a Misery Monday…well, maybe Russell yawning as he came into the studio, but as you’d come to find out by listening to his show open, he’s “exhausted” after watching another Commanders blowout loss.

“Yeah, that’s over,” Russell laughed when JP asked him if he had any positives from the game. “I mean, if we’re being serious, Sam on that touchdown run on the fourth-and-three off-platform under pressure making something out of nothing…and I guess they executed the tush push well.”

There were some others, but after the game, Rooster went into the OPPOSING locker room, in part to talk to ex-DC guy Mike McDaniel, and in part because, as he said, “I'm tired of hearing the same old nonsense BS excuse propaganda from the Commanders players and from Ron, so I wanted a different perspective of some of the things that I had questions to.”

JP and Brian had played some audio Rooster grabbed when he asked Tyreek Hill about the coverage (or lack thereof) Washington gave him, which flummoxed seemingly everyone given what happened.

“I don’t think anyone on the team is okay to go one-on-one with Tyreek Hill,” BMitch said. “He has 93 receptions for 1481 yards and 12 touchdowns – you put anyone on your team one-on-one with him, you’re setting them up for failure.”

Take a listen as BMitch, JP, and Rooster break down just how poorly the Commanders defense fared against Tyreek Hill and the entire Dolphins offense!
