Commanders practice squad CB Kevon Seymour suspended six games for violating NFL PED policy
Perhaps lost among the big news of the day that the Commanders were releasing Jamin Davis was the loss of one of their practice squadders.
The NFL announced Tuesday that Commanders CB Kevon Seymour, a member of the practice squad, has been suspended for six games for violating the league's Performance Enhancing Substances Policy.
The league does not, and did not, disclose what the exact violation was, only that Seymour is ineligible to practice or play for the next six games, and can be reinstated on Dec. 2 following the Commanders' Week 13 game against Tennesssee, which is their last before their bye.
Seymour, 30, was a sixth-round pick by Buffalo in 2016 and has played in 65 total NFL games with the Bills, Panthers, Eagles, Ravens, and Commanders.
He was elevated from the practice squad and active for both the Week 5 game against Cleveland and Week 6 game against Baltimore, playing a total of 17 snaps on special teams snaps and making one tackle.
