WEDNESDAY, 3:00 P.M.: It's now official: Commanders-Cowboys in Landover is happening at 1 p.m. Christmas Day on Netflix!
WEDNESDAY, 1:00 P.M.: Our own JP Finlay is hearing three notes for the Burgundy and Gold: that the Bears will return to Landover for the Monday Night Football matchup in Week 6; that Washington will host Seattle for Week 9's Sunday Nighter, making six National Window games so far; and that the Commanders will finish their slate at the Linc, indeed facing the Eagles twice in three weeks at the end of the year.
WEDNESDAY, 10:10 A.M.: As broken by our own Kevin Sheehan at the top of his program, the Commanders will indeed be playing on Christmas Day, hosting the Cowboys. Should usual NFL protocols hold up with Divisional Games in Week 18, that also means they'll either be bookending with the Giants in Weeks 1 and 18, or they will be facing the Eagles twice in three weeks for the season finale.
WEDNESDAY, 10:06 A.M.: According to NFL Nerd on Twitter, the Commanders will get their official TNF game out of the way early, heading to Lambeau for a Week 2 showdown with the Packers on Sept. 11.
WEDNESDAY, 9 A.M.: According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the other half of the NFC East will meet in Week 1 with the Giants visiting Washington. Philly is confirmed to host Dallas in the Thursday night opener, so this would give everyone a divisional game right off the bat.
TUESDAY, 9 A.M.: Viva Espana! It's official: the Commanders will be Miami's opponent in the first-ever NFL game in Madrid, to take place on Sunday, Nov. 16 at Santiago Bernabau Stadium.
MONDAY, 7 P.M.: The Commanders' Week 13 game will not be Black Friday, as Bears vs. Eagles was announced by the NFL as the Day After Thanksgiving Game to be aired on Prime Video. That does leave open still, however, the possibility of a Commanders visit to Dallas on Thanksgiving Day proper.
MONDAY, 5:07 P.M.: The first confirmed game of the Commanders schedule is out, as FOX announced a Saturday doubleheader for Week 16 featuring Commanders vs. Eagles and Bears vs. Packers on Sat., Dec. 20. Could this announcement also mean Commanders at Packers or Commanders vs. Bears on Christmas Day?
MONDAY, 8:08 A.M: Spanish-language outlet Diario AS is reporting that the Commanders are going international, and will be the opponent for the Dolphins in the first-ever NFL Game in Madrid.
MONDAY, 7 A.M.: Washington will not be in Game 1 of 272 this season, as the NFL announced on the Today Show that the Cowboys will visit Philadelphia on Thursday, Sept. 11 for the customary season-opener on NBC with the defending Super Bowl Champions.
