Well, sort of – see, he’s passionate about a lot of things Commanders, but there was no yelling, only impassioned pleading, about the NFL owners’ vote on the sale of the team.
Josh Harris is meeting with the NFL Finance Committee this week to hopefully allay any concerns they have about the group purchasing the team, and if that goes well and the committee signs off for the owners to vote?
In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger in Predator: “DO IT! DO IT NOW!”
“My point is, the laissez-faire attitude of the other owners who are very busy with their relaxation time…please have the same urgency as you did before when you wanted Dan Snyder gone. This guy did you the biggest favor, he’s paying an astronomical price and just tripled the value of some of your teams, and he’s going to hopefully restore this market to be what it could be, which is a bif one instead of the worst in the sport,” Danny said.
He doesn’t want October, or even August…if you’re going to call a special meeting, do it by any means necessary as soon as possible.
“Get your ass off the yacht and vote,” Danny said. “Call in, Zoom in, take your plane back, land, and let’s get this vote going. Let’s hurry up and have some urgency and respect the guy who just bailed you out.”

Grant then chimed in, asking, ‘what’s the difference whether it happens now or in a few months?’
“The difference is, the sooner he’s here, the better it is for everyone. You can start with that press conference – if it’s in the middle of the season, where’s the juice?” Danny said.
Grant tried to fire back that it won’t be, but as Danny said, August is pre-season, and once the NFL calendar is in full swing, that’s season time.
“Once we get the approval, the idea that this is the normal process? Admit there’s nothing normal about this and have urgency,” Danny said.

“Have all 31 owners waiting in a room; the eight finance guys are in there to meet with Josh Harris, and once that’s done and we have recommendations, VOTE RIGHT NOW!” he said. “Demonstrate the immediacy needed here to end the reign of this buffoon who ruined everything and hail the new conquering hero. The later they come in, we’re now talking about a calendar year where they can’t have any impact.”
In Grant’s eyes, that’s already happening, because even now is too late to make any changes on the business or football sides, but to Danny, you can at least start the process of fact-finding.
