Ed Werder has covered the NFL, mainly the Cowboys, for almost 40 years, so he’s seen it all in the NFC East – but when he joined BMitch & Finlay on Wednesday, he had quite a few great things to say about the Commanders and some of their acquisitions so far this offseason.
“Deebo (Samuel) is one of the most versatile players in the league on a contract year, and Washington made a great move to get (Laremy) Tunsil...I really question what the Texans are doing,” Werder said, before adding this about the team as a whole: "Washington's totally in ‘go for it’ mode. They've got their eyes firmly on taking down the Eagles, as they should."
Take a listen above to Werder’s full visit, which, of course, also had a lot of Cowboys talk!
