The Junkies Poll of the Day posed the question: would Commanders fans rather have Jim Harbaugh or Eric Bieniemy as their next head coach?
“I know the fanbase is big into Eric Bieniemy,” EB said. “His offense is better than Scott Turner’s offense…it’s not some dramatic improvement, but you have to give Bieniemy credit for Howell’s development.
“He coached in the pros, was fairly successful. He’s been successful everywhere he’s been…if you just have that binary choice of those two…who are you going for, and who do you think the fanbase is gonna go for?”
It was a tough choice for Cakes and the Junks.
“I like the winning aspect of Harbaugh,” Cakes said. “But I also like the upside of offense that Bieniemy has already brought to this team, which I think can get better.”
