Which will be the higher Commanders season total: Terry McLaurin receiving yards of Brian Robinson rushing yards?

Entering the final four games, Terry McLaurin has 694 receiving yards and Brian Robinson has 664 rushing yards. Both are leaders on the team…but who will finish the season with more?

A fun hypothetical that Brian Mitchell and producers Landfill and Jeff Walker laid out cases for on Tuesday.

“I believe Terry can have a big game down the stretch. He needs 306 yards for 1,000, and if they go to him like other teams do to their No. 1? He has that ability, they just have to feed him,” BMitch asked. “It comes down to play-calling, but ultimately, it comes down to who the quarterback has the most faith in. We saw that whenever Taylor Heinicke wanted to play, he threw it to Terry. We've seen early in this season whenever they needed to play, they threw it to Terry. You cannot have a game without him being involved with the game.”

As for Robinson, who doesn’t have as much competition for carries but does see less runs called than passes?

“Their last four opponents have dominant pass rushes, so I don’t even know if we gonna get the ball to Terry,” Jeff Walker said. “I wanna lead towards Terry, but I’m going with B-Rob.”

Landfill, who came up with the hypothetical, took McLaurin because the Commanders will be behind a lot and throwing more often, so that’s more chances for McLaurin.

BMitch’s ultimate synopsis?

“I think it's going to be Terry at the end. Terry will finish with more yards than what Brian would because I know in this offense, a lot of the run game is going to be basically short passes, screen plays, running a little swing route, running flat routes and those yards that you see,” BMitch said. “Brian will be able to catch the ball and get up the field, but those don't count as rushing yards for him.”
