There have been reports, a team statement, more reports, rumors of billionaires circling, and more rumors, but is Daniel Snyder really going to sell the Washington Commanders?
“Yes! How about that for news?” Fox NFL insider Jay Glazer said in a video posted to Twitter. This would indicate Dan and his wife and co-owner Tanya will be selling the entirety of the team, not a minority stake.

Glazer said the timeline for the sale is the next "four to six months" with the hiring of Bank of America Securities to facilitate the transaction. But for fans, there is reason to get excited about what comes next no matter who is in the next ownership group.
“And now also, like that becomes an incredibly attractive job for [a head coach] and anybody else who wants to potentially work down there,” he said. “For a new owner to come in there and actually get a new stadium done, and for somebody to then resurrect this once storied franchise, that becomes a place where I think a lot of players will want to go. If they’re looking to hire people, for executives over there, whatever, any department over there.
“All the sudden, it becomes a very, very attractive place to go, talk about resurrecting a storied franchise.”
Glazer added the Commanders will likely be sold for in the neighborhood of $7 billion.
