If you weren't already amped up for Eric Bieniemy, this video making the rounds of the Commanders' new offensive coordinator introducing him to star receiver Terry McLaurin will send you through the stratosphere.
Bieniemy met with several of his new offensive players after being introduced on Thursday and McLaurin was in town for the full experience.
"I love what you're talking about, about strength and your expectations, and I don't think you'll have an issue with that with this group," McLaurin said. "I don't think we really had an issue with effort. But I think that's important. I like that you said that, you know what I mean. That's what it's about. I know all about strength."
"I know. I see it every day. And that's why you're in this situation right now and I'm gonna lean on you," Bieniemy said. "But I just appreciate you being here. It means a lot. We're gonna spend some time together. We'll get this thing going when it's legal to start talking ball."
McLaurin, one of the best steals in the draft for a generation of Commanders fans as a third-round pick in 2019, is coming off his first Pro Bowl season and is a team captain.
"Most definitely. I'm looking forward to that, because I don't mind being coached hard," McLaurin said. "I want those honest conversations and I want to be a part of a championship. I want to taste that, and I think you have some great guys in here and we're excited."
"Some of us just need to get a little bit more nasty," Bieniemy said. "That's all."
McLaurin, who looked visibly fired up for that comment, replied, "Yeah, come on! That's what I'm talking about!"
