Who to start, and who to sit this week in fantasy football:
Start 'Em
QB: Jared Goff, Los Angeles Rams
Opponent: vs. Seattle
Jared Goff and the Rams come off the bye with a matchup against the struggling Seahawks secondary that is allowing more points to opposing quarterbacks than any other team in the National Football League.
RB: Miles Sanders, Philadelphia Eagles
Opponent: at Giants
Miles Sanders is expected to rejoin the team this week after being sidelined with a hamstring injury since Week 6. He'll face a struggling Giants defense coming off of a win against Washington. Keep track of Sanders' practice status throughout the week to make sure he's good to go.
WR: Will Fuller V, Houston Texans
Opponent: at Browns
WIll Fuller has been an absolute machine in recent weeks for the Texans, the oft-injured Notre Dame product has emerged as Deshaun Watson's de-facto receiver, scoring in six-straight games and now faces a Browns secondary that has struggled to contain opposing wideouts all season long.
TE: T.J. Hockenson, Detroit Lions
Opponent: vs. Washington
The Lions will look to get their season back on track when they host Washington in Week 10. Second-year tight end T.J. Hockenson is enjoying a career year in fantasy, currently slated as TE3 through Week 9. He has gotten at least six targets in each of the past three games, and will look to capitalize against the struggling Washington Football Team.
Sit 'Em
QB: Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
Opponent: at Steelers
Joe Burrow has been exceptional this season, but he now faces arguably the best defensive unit in the National Football League. Burrow struggled to get rolling the last time he faced an elite defense back in Week 5 against Baltimore, throwing for 183 yards and two turnovers. Look for a different option this week.
RB: Chris Carson, Seattle Seahawks
Opponent: at LA Rams
Chris Carson is expected to return from injury in Week 10 against the Rams for Seattle after missing the last two games with a hamstring injury. Keep track of his practice status this week before rolling the dice because even if he starts, if he pulls anything, Seattle may yank him off the field and cost you a fantasy matchup.
WR: Adam Thielen, Minnesota Vikings
Opponent: at Bears
With Dalvin Cook's recent explosion over the past two weeks (52 carries, 369 rushing yards, 5 rushing TD, 4 receptions, 109 receiving yards, 1 receiving TD) Thielen's role has been sharply reduced in the offense (5 receptions for 65 yards since Week 7 bye). The Vikings now face the Bears on Monday Night Football. Kirk Cousins has never won a game on Monday night before, and the Monsters of the Midway will look to keep that streak alive. Thielen is a flex at best.
TE: Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens
Opponent: at Patriots
Ravens tight end Mark Andrews hasn't scored in double figures since Week 5 and Lamar Jackson hasn't gotten the team going in a fashion we're accustomed to. In Week 10 the Ravens head to Gillette Stadium for a matchup with the Patriots and a defense that has allowed the fewest points to opposing tight ends this season. Find another option
