Chase Young expected to be out against Ravens

Chase Young is expected to be ruled out for the Washington Football Team's Week 4 game against the Baltimore Ravens, Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports. Young is considered "week-to-week," Rapoport adds.

Young left early in Sunday's game against Cleveland with a groin injury and did not return, later reappearing on the sidelines out of uniform.

On Monday, Josina Anderson reported Young was scheduled to undergo an MRI, although it's unclear if that was precautionary.

Young emerged at practice — but not in pads — on Wednesday, relegated instead to the stationary bikes.

"We'll see how the week goes with Chase," said Washington defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio, speaking after Wednesday's practice in place of Ron Rivera, who was away getting cancer treatment. "To me, we've got time. I mean, to make declarations early in the week doesn't serve anyone's purpose, so we'll see how that goes as we progress through the week."

"And then beyond that, you're getting the next guys up and ready to go," he added. "Those guys are excited about getting opportunities."
