You shall not pass!
The Pittsburgh Steelers were on the doorstep of scoring, but the Washington Football Team said no.
Pittsburgh ran five plays from inside the Washington 1-yard line and failed to get into the end zone. The final play was a huge stop by the 2020 No. 2 overall draft pick Chase Young.
The entire Washington defense deserves praise, especially for getting a good push over center.
Unfortunately, it was all for naught as the offense couldn't take advantage of the stop.
Alex Smith couldn’t muster a first down and after a good punt return by Pittsburgh, the Steelers had the ball at midfield.
This won't get mentioned tomorrow, but the #WashingtonFootball defense - which has been on the field for 16 of the 25 minutes so far - is about to start another possession huddling in their own side of the field.

PIT started at the 31 last drive. Midfield this drive.
And it didn’t go well: Steelers up 14-0.
Of course, things did turn around for Washington.
