Well, it looks like his groin is doing fine.
Washington Football Team kicker Dustin Hopkins was a limited participant in practice this week as he dealt with a right groin injury, but he will play Sunday vs. the Detroit Lions and he looks ready for action.
The groin does not seem to be bothering Hopkins as he drilled a 61-yard field goal during warmups just over an hour before kickoff in Week 10.
That’ll play.
Washington had kicker/punter Kaare Vedvik on the practice squad, but when he wasn’t activated Saturday it indicated Hopkins would be ready to play Sunday.
The earlier results of warmups didn’t look too good, however, as Hopkins doinked one off the right upright from 35 yards away.
However, once the long snapper Nick Sundberg and holder Tres Way entered the picture Hopkins looked better.
