The Washington Commanders are losing tight end Ricky Seals-Jones to a division foe.
Seals-Jones, 27, is signing with the New York Giants, per ESPN's Jordan Raanan. Terms of the deal were undisclosed and are pending results of a physical.
Seals-Jones is a big target at 6-foot-5, 243 pounds and was a solid depth tight end for the Commanders. He had 30 catches for 271 yards and two touchdowns in 2021. His biggest burst of the season came during a six-game stretch from Weeks 4 through 10, catching 22 passes for 211 yards and a touchdown.
Undrafted in 2017, Seals-Jones has also had stints in Arizona, Cleveland and Kansas City. He has 90 career catches for 1,044 yards and 10 touchdowns.
