Sources: Montez Sweat could miss a month with fractured jaw

The Washington Football Team could be without its second most prominent sack leader, Montez Sweat, for as long as a month, sources tell 106.7 The Fan's Grant Paulsen.

Sweat suffered a fractured jaw during Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Sweat sustained a non-displaced jaw fracture that does not require surgery, although it could exclude him from physical contact and alter his diet while he recovers.

Sweat's four sacks rank second to only Jonathan Allen's six on the team. Sweat also has two forced fumbles and 19 total tackles, including three tackles for loss, to go along with 12 QB hits this season.
