Jason Bishop of The Sports Junkies just wanted to watch some ACC basketball on Saturday night, with Virginia Tech taking on Duke in the conference tournament final.
Things quickly took a turn for the worse, though, when Bish took an ass-breaking spill on a sheet of ice in front of his buddy's house. Fortunately for everyone, his dive was caught on camera by his buddy's well-positioned Ring doorbell, clearly invented for humorous follies such as these.
"It is an icy driveway and he just falls over," described JP Flaim.
"This was on Saturday night and my neck is killing me right now," Bish said. "But I walked up my buddy's driveway — I was going to watch the [Virginia] Tech game. So my wife's in front of me and then I'm behind her, and then I'm walking up the driveway and it was all ice! The whole thing was ice!"
"At least your wife came back for you to help you," said Flaim. "Because his wife could have just said 'screw you' and just walked into the party. But she came back and then apparently she told you, 'Hey, we're on the Ring doorbell.'"
"So I got up real quick," Bish said. "I got up with a quickness."
"Man, it's quite a fall. But you pop up well," Eric Bickel said. "But then you go back into that shuffle."
"Bro, it was an ice skating rink," Bish said. "And his driveway is about 100 yards long."
