What are YOU doing over your holiday weekend? As you can hear below, poor Darris Dameron, the loser in the annual G&D Confidence Points Picks competition, will be paying off the punishment for coming in last: getting a bunch of random ‘glamour shots’ done with props provided by Grant, Danny, and Ryan Clary!

As for G&D and the picks winner, “The Stallion,” their weekends are wide open…and maybe they can fulfill one of the more fun pre-holiday weekend questions answered on the show Friday: which sports video game would you love to go back in time and play?

This came up because a teaser has dropped for the return of College Football to the video game lineup, with EA Sports’ College Football ’25 coming this summer to end a decade-long drought of all of us armchair coaches fulfilling our dream of bringing an obscure school to the Natty.

If you’re ever even HEARD Grant talk, you’d guess he’s rocking some baseball game, maybe MVP Baseball ’05 with Jon Dowd and that rad soundtrack, but no: it’s Grant & Sean Paulsen and their buddies Joey & Steve, and maybe ol’ Brad Truslow, crushing a few games of Madden after picking it up at Best Buy just after midnight on release day - breaking only to hop in Brad’s Pontiac Sunfire and get breakfast at Howard’s in downtown King George.

As for Danny, he’s grabbing sandwiches from the old Frisco’s on Wisconsin Avenue, and two Dans and two Pats are heading over to Dan Dickinson's house rotating...taking the Kings to the Cup, against the computer with the offsides off!

“NHL ’94 on the Sega Genesis!” Danny exclaimed as he hummed ‘Let’s Go Band.’ “That game changed everything; you could fight before in NHL ’93, and you could still do the move – and everyone of a certain age knows what I mean – but ’94 is the year of the one-timer.”

Peter Bondra, Al Iafrate, rookie Sean Taylor, RFK and the Cap Centre…ah, memories!
