Remember when Dan Quinn joined The Junkies just after being hired and played word association, and his answer of “game-changer” for Jayden Daniels led to three months of wondering if he had tipped the team’s hand for their preference as the No. 2 pick (which was, indeed, Daniels, and was something the team revealed post-draft they were worried about)?

Yeah, well, on Tuesday, Brian Keefe, who was officially named as Wizards head coach last week and introduced Tuesday after a 39-game stint as interim bench boss last season, was smart enough not to fall for the same ploy from Grant & Danny.
