The Caps came back from the All-Star break Tuesday night with a 5-2 loss to the Canadiens, their fifth straight loss and dropping them to seventh in the Metro and 12th in the East. And, on the other side of Cap One’s facilities, the Wizards are 9-40 and on a three-game skid as they get set to take the hardwood tonight to face the Cavs.
We have optimism with the Commanders and Nats pitchers and catchers report next week, but right now, such is the winter of our discontent.
