We’ve got a Shams Bomb less than 48 hours before the NBA Draft: Kristaps Porzingis may be the next Wizard headed out of town.

Shams Charania Tweeted Wednesday afternoon that the Wizards, Celtics, and Clippers are in “strong talks” on a three-way deal that would send Kristaps Porzingis to Boston, the sides “still working through details and Porzingis’ $36 million player option.”

Per Shams, Boston would send Malcolm Brogdon to L.A. and the Wizards would get Marcus Morris from the Lakers and “draft compensation,” which he later revealed at least part of: the Clippers will send their first-round pick this year, No. 30 overall, to DC.

Kyle Kuzma has already declined his player option, making him a free agent, and the framework is in place for Beal to head to Phoenix for two players and multiple picks – with one of those players, Chris Paul, also possibly being flipped to a contender - so this would officially end the era of the “Big 3” in DC once the Beal deal becomes official.

Salaries could be an issue, as Brogdon is scheduled to make $22.5 million in each of the next two years, while Morris, who is in the last year of his deal, is set to make just $17.116 million this season, and Porzingis is just over $36 million. Boston would have to send some extra salary out, with Shams also reporting that "Danilo Gallinari's expiring $6.8 million closes the gap to reach the salary matching threshold."
