AJ Dybantsa has been impressive in his NBA debut over the first couple Summer League games…but we’ll have to wait until October to see him on the court again.

Wizards Summer League coach T.J. Sorrentine told The Athletic’s Josh Robbins that Dybantsa, as well as Tre Johnson and Will Riley, have been shut down for the remainder of summer play,

“It’s a culmination of camp all the way through the games,” Sorrentine told Robbins. “It’s not just what (everyone’s) seen on TV. We’ve had a good camp, a lot of good practices and shootarounds and a couple of good games.”

Dybantsa, who led NCAA Division I in scoring last season, had 27 points and seven boards in his Summer debut, and followed up with 23 and 7 in Game 2. Riley averaged 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists in his two Summer games, while Johnson had 26 points in the opener before sitting out Game 2.

The Wizards won both of those games, and will play Chicago on Tuesday night and the Clippers Wednesday night ahead of the Summer League playoffs Friday-Sunday.
