From the man who brought you the Hunter Henry and Derrick Johnson gaffe, Stephen A. Smith, comes another amazing mistake.
While listing off all the quarterbacks the Redskins used last season on ESPN's First Take Tuesday, Smith said, "Some guy named Tress Way actually started one game."
If you're not aware (like Smith apparently), Tress Way is the Redskins' punter. To be fair to Smith, Way did throw a pass on a trick play last season, but he definitely did not start a game at quarterback in 2018.
As you'd expect, Smith's error set Twitter ablaze.
Way himself go in on the fun, jokingly touting his QB rating (he's thrown two passes in his NFL career).
Oh, Stephen A. This is so embarrassing for you, but so great for the rest of us. Thank you.
