Trace McSorley put up 77 touchdowns to 25 interceptions with nearly 10,000 passing yards over four seasons at Penn State, leading the Nittany Lions to a 31-9 record as a starter and as high as the No. 2 ranking in the country.
Jason Bishop has been known by many names to Junkies listeners – whether it's 'Lurch,' 'Papa,' and lately, 'Bish' – but to NFL hopeful Trace McSorley, he's simply known as 'Uncle Jason.'
"So Uncle Jason, for me, and my dad and my mom, they were friends in college," McSorley told The Junkies Tuesday. "So they've been friends forever. So I've known him pretty much my whole life, so that's kind of how the connection came on and obviously we're both in Ashburn living there. We're around all the time, see him probably once a week, twice a week, whatever it might be."
"Cause your dad played football at Richmond," Eric Bickel explained further. "And Jason briefly played basketball there, before he was given the heave-ho."
