WATCH: Vernon Davis hurdles defender en route to 48-yard touchdown

Redskins tight end Vernon Davis put on an acrobatic display en route to a 48-yard touchdown pass, to go up 7-0 in the first quarter against the Eagles.

Davis, 35, appeared at an impasse eight yards into his route, but hurdled over the pursuing defender, and bowling over another to break free for the end zone.

Davis appeared emotional after the score, but it wasn't because of an injury. His grandfather just passed away.
