With spring training out of the way, the focus for the Washington Nationals has shifted to Opening Day 2019, when Max Scherzer will face off against Mets ace and reigning NL Cy Young winner Jacob deGrom Thursday afternoon at Nationals Park.
Ahead of Opening Day, The Sports Junkies made their Nats 2019 season predictions, deciding whether Washington will go over or under its projected 89.5 win total.
John-Paul FlaimUnder

"I certainly think they're capable of (winning the NL East). I'll put them in the playoffs, I don't think they're gonna win the NL East. They won't win the NL East, they'll be a wild card team. ... To me, there's just too many question marks."

Jason Bishop: Over

"I think the Nats are better than the Phillies. Not by a lot, but by a few games ... I just think 90's a lot for the Phillies."

"I do like overs, I think I'd tickle the over!"
