Sean Doolittle may still be on the disabled list, but whenever he's healthy, he'll return to a dream come true.

The Nationals announced Thursday they're adding a bullpen cart to their game day experience. The "WGL Energy bullpen cart" debuts Friday and will be unveiled before the game against the Marlins.

Used for in-game pitching changes, the cart will transport both Nationals and visiting relievers from the bullpen to the front of their respective dugout.

The Nationals, following the Diamondbacks and Tigers, are the third team to add a bullpen cart in 2018, a relic of the 1970's and 80's. This is the first season they've been used since 1995.

UPDATE

This is the new bullpen cart @Nationals park. It's sponsored by an energy company, apparently they turned down an Ambulance Company which would've been more appropriate. pic.twitter.com/Cv3e55olLe
